Fjord3D AS operates this shop and this website, including all related information, content, tools, features, products and services, in order to give you, the customer, a tailored shopping experience ("the services"). This privacy policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal data when you use, visit or make a purchase through the services, or when you communicate with us in other ways. If a conflict arises between the terms of use and this privacy policy, this privacy policy governs the collection, processing and disclosure of your personal data.

Please read this privacy policy carefully. By using and accessing the services, you confirm that you have read this privacy policy and understand how your information is collected, used and disclosed as described in it.

Personal data we collect or process

When we use the term "personal data" we mean information that identifies you or that can reasonably be linked to you or another person. We may collect or process the following categories of personal data, depending on how you interact with the services:

• Contact details: name, address, billing address, delivery address, phone number and e-mail address.
• Financial information: payment card information, account information, transaction information, payment method, payment confirmation and other related details.
• Account information: username, password, preferences and settings.
• Transaction information: which items you view, add to your basket, buy, return or exchange, and your previous transactions.
• Communication with us: the information you include when communicating with us, for example support enquiries.
• Device information: device, browser, network connection, IP address and other identifiers.
• Usage information: how and when you interact with or navigate the services.

Sources of personal data

• Directly from you: when you create an account, use the services, communicate with us or give us your personal data in other ways.
• Automatically through the services: from your device when you use the website, through our own first-party visit statistics and, if you have consented, through Google, Meta and TikTok.
• From our service providers: for example payment providers (Vipps), shipping (Bring/Posten) and e-mail delivery.

How we use your personal data

• Providing the services: processing your payments, dispatching your orders, creating and managing your account, arranging shipping and collection, and managing your recycling and credit balance.
• Marketing: if you have consented, sending you newsletters and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Security and fraud prevention: authenticating your account and providing a secure payment and shopping experience.
• Communicating with you: providing customer support and maintaining our business relationship with you.
• Legal reasons: complying with applicable law or in connection with legal proceedings.

How we disclose personal data

We never sell your personal data. We share information with providers who perform services on our behalf, for example:

• Payment providers (Vipps, Stripe, bank) to process your payment.
• Shipping providers (Bring/Posten) to deliver your order.
• Our e-mail provider, to send you order confirmations and other communication relating to your order.
• Google, Meta and TikTok, for statistics and marketing, but only if you have consented to marketing cookies. See "Marketing data shared with Google" below.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of other users.

Marketing data shared with Google

If you have consented to marketing cookies, we send a cryptographically hashed version (SHA-256) of your e-mail address to Google when a purchase is completed. This lets Google connect the purchase to the advert that brought you here, so we can see which marketing actually works.

The hashing happens in your own browser before anything is sent. Google never receives your actual e-mail address, only the hashed value, which cannot be converted back into the address.

If you are logged in, we also send an internal customer number, so that the same customer on phone and computer is counted as one person rather than two. We never send names, addresses or e-mail addresses in plain text.

If you do not consent, none of this is sent. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings at the bottom of the page.

Children's data

The services are not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data about children under the age of majority in Norway. If you are a parent or guardian of a child who has given us their personal data, you can contact us to request that the information is deleted.

Security and retention of your information

We take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect your personal data, but no security measure is perfect or impenetrable. How long we retain your personal data depends on whether we need the information to maintain your account, provide you with the services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

Your rights and choices

You may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and to receive a copy of that data (data portability). You can manage your communication preferences using the unsubscribe link in e-mails from us, or by contacting us directly.

You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details below. If you are unhappy with how we process your personal data, you can also lodge a complaint with the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Your data stays in Norway

Our aim is that your personal data stays in Norway. We do our utmost to use only Norwegian providers, including Norwegian payment solutions (Vipps) and Norwegian shipping (Bring/Posten), so that your data is processed and stored here in Norway.

We never sell your personal data. There is one exception to the general rule that we want to be straightforward about: if you have consented to marketing cookies, we send statistics and marketing data to Google, Meta and TikTok, which are companies outside Norway. This concerns hashed values and usage patterns, never names, addresses or e-mail addresses in plain text. If you do not consent, none of this leaves the country.

Your order, your customer profile and your payment are processed and stored in Norway regardless of what you choose.

Our website and operations run on renewable Norwegian hydropower, good for your privacy and for the environment.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We publish the updated privacy policy on the website and update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page.
